{"id":194,"date":"2021-11-15T12:05:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-15T12:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gigis.edu.sg\/pdc\/?page_id=194"},"modified":"2026-08-27T10:21:59","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T10:21:59","slug":"fee-structure","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gigis.edu.sg\/pdc\/fee-structure","title":{"rendered":"Fee Structure"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fee Protection Scheme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) safeguards the candidates\u2019 fees in situations where a private education institution (PEI) is unable to continue operating due to insolvency or regulatory closure. It also provides protection if the PEI fails to pay penalties or return fees to students arising from judgment made against it by the Singapore courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the course fees paid by candidates to GIG International School Pte Ltd are covered under the FPS Group Insurance provided by Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd. The insurance coverage begins from the date the fees are paid and remains valid for the duration of the course that the payment applies to, or until the course end date, whichever is applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following fees are exempted from the FPS, if collected by GIG international School Pte Ltd:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Course application fee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Prevailing Goods and Service Tax (GST)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Miscellaneous fees (including transport and book fees)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf FPS insurance premium<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Examination fees<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Courses lasting a period of 30 days or less, or up to 50 hours are not required to be covered under FPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GIG International School may collect a maximum of 12 months of course fees.
