{"id":2482,"date":"2025-03-17T08:35:33","date_gmt":"2025-03-17T08:35:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gigis.edu.sg\/pdc\/?page_id=2482"},"modified":"2026-08-27T08:26:40","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T08:26:40","slug":"deferment-transfer-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gigis.edu.sg\/pdc\/deferment-transfer-policy","title":{"rendered":"Deferment &amp; Transfer Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Deferment Policy<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a>An administrative fee of $100 is chargeable<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instalment payment schedule will resume once the candidate returns to class<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a request is made within a month (specifically beyond the 5th of that month) and the candidate has been attending classes before making the said deferment request, he is required and liable to settle the instalment amount for that month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates are given 12 months to resume attending the classes from the date they filled the Deferment Request Form also subject to availability of classes within the said given period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a candidate is uncontactable after 12 months, his status will automatically change to withdrawn status. Applicable withdrawal status will be in effect.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GIG International School PDC reserves the right to deny deferment request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>The deferment request is not deemed official until the filled PDC FRM-021 Deferment Request Form is sent via email to the Education Consultant. The date of submission of PDC FRM-023 is the effective date of notice of transfer.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>GIGIS PDC reserves the right to postpone a course for up to 3 months from the stipulated date as signed on the Registration Form. A full refund of the amount paid will be given to participants if GIGIS PDC is unable to start a course 3 months from the date signed on the Registration Form.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>GIGIS PDC reserves the right to make any amendments to the course materials, start and end dates as deemed necessary without prior notice to participants.
