Withdrawal Policy
Candidates have a cooling-off period of ten (10) working days after the date that the Contract has been signed by both parties. (Standard Student Contract V.4). The candidate will be refunded the amount based on the events stipulated in numbers 1 & 2 The candidate has to fill up and submit a formal written withdrawal notice via email to enquiry@gigis.edu.sg for the withdrawal procedure to be facilitated.

- Withdrawal requests given 7 days before the class starts the candidate can get a refund of the 75% of the Course Fees paid (see Table A of Section F: Withdrawal / Refund / Transfer Policy & Procedure)
- If a request is made within a month (specifically beyond the 5th of that month) and the candidate has been attending classes before making the said withdrawal request, he is required and liable to settle the instalment amount for that month.
- In cases where a candidate suddenly stopped attending classes and has been missing in action and all repeated efforts to keep in touch via SMS, calls and email to check status are in vain- the candidate will automatically be identified as inactive and eventually withdrawn (if after 30 days, he remains uncontactable). Fees paid will not be refunded and the contract will be terminated.
- In cases where a candidate is expelled from the course enrolled due to misconduct and non-observance (see PDC Candidate Handbook on Serious Violations) and moral and educational ethics, candidates will be considered automatically withdrawn from the course. Fees paid will not be refunded and contract will be terminated.
- The withdrawal request is not deemed official until the filled PDC FRM-022 Withdrawal Request Form is sent via email to the Education Consultant. The date of submission of PDC FRM-022 is the effective date of notice of withdrawal.
Refund Policy
Fees paid will be fully refunded on the following grounds:
- A candidate will not continue the course enrolled and made a request within the 10 days cooling off period *applicable to candidates with signed contracts.
- PDC failed to start the course on or before the Course Commencement Date (i.e due to low attendance or other unavoidable circumstances) *candidates will be notified within three (3) working days:
- PDC terminates the course before course completion date.
- PDC has not ensured that the candidate meets the course entry or matriculation requirements as set by the organisation stated in Schedule A within the stipulated timeline set by SSG.
- The student pass application of the candidate is rejected by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) *not including bank charges, ICA Student Pass application fee and Issuing Fee.
Fees paid will be partially refunded on the following grounds:
- The request was given 7 days before the class starts (75% of the Course Fees paid will be refunded).
Fees paid will not be refunded (0% refund) on the following grounds:
- The request was made after course commencement.
- A candidate committed an offense (See PDC Candidate Handbook)
- Serious Violations https://gigis.edu.sg/pdc/handbook) and upon extensive investigation the act is deemed as infringement and is expelled by PDC.
- A candidate has confirmed plagiarising a project, assignment or academic requirement and is expelled from the course based on a decision of the Academic Examinations Board.
- Third parties’ amount and charges e.g. Bank charge, ICA Student Pass application fee and Issuing Fee.
